Dried mix to make #mushroom #risotto found at #aldi. In addition to mushrooms it has dehydrated #onion, #carrot and #zucchini. Only the mushrooms added some flavor, and thankfully I added some fresh zucchini squash and smoked tofu to add more flavor and texture. Also despite the salt content, I had to add more to pump up the flavor.
It fell short of my expectations, as in the end it tasted like rice and veggies. It didn't have that creamy element though I was stirring for quite a long time. It is nice that it comes in recyclable cardboard packaging though it was coated in removable plastic. I won't be purchasing it again.
