The Herbivorous Butcher is making pizzas for a limited time! Right now they have "Lemon Pepper Chicken" and "Meat Lovers". The Lemon Pepper Chicken has white béchamel Sauce, caramelized onions, arugula, and balsamic glaze. I used to love white sauce pizzas, so I thought I'd give it a try. I really enjoyed the béchamel sauce they used. It was nice and creamy so cheese wasn't needed. They were very generous with the chunks of lemon pepper chicken. There was also a lot of caramelized onion. The caramelized onion and balsamic made the pizza a bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe if I added some red pepper flakes, the spice would help balance it out. The crust was really amazing. I wonder if they'll start selling it!?
