This is my fave stick butter for baking. I discovered this one when I was looking for ingredients to use to bake cookies for a colleague who has a nut allergy. It really works well in baking, and also has a pleasant buttery taste if you wish to use it on toast or in other applications. Unfortunately, like most, it contains palm oil. There is a statement regarding sustainable sourcing, but I understand many may still want to avoid it. I’ve been trying to slowly cut down my palm oil consumption but recognize this will be one of the harder areas to avoid.
I recently used this butter for a boxed pffefernüsse mix. Unfortunately this mix is discontinued but I look forward to making my own. (The vegan recipes I’ve found are pretty varying; does anyone have a tried and true one they love?)

I was actually going to ask if you had a preferred pfeffernüsse recipe haha, I ran across the same problem. I’m trying to decide whether to try one of the few vegan recipes I can find online, or just reference a non-vegan recipe and sub out all of the offensive ingredients. I’ll keep you updated!
