Chocolate Bao en Bao — Reseña de whatrebeccaeats (4 sept 2023)

I was looking forward to trying out Bao, but unfortunately I was really disappointed. I purchased 3 in a box, the person putting the bao in the box dropped one of mine on the counter and put it in anyway, I opened the box immediately after I got outside and found them all ruined.

They really were nothing special, dry buns and a pot of chocolate flavoured sauce, and only the 3 had been made that I had ordered, so I couldn’t have asked to swap my order without having to wait another 10 minutes.

They are extremely overpriced for what I received (£9.50), and weren’t enjoyable at all. I really think they are overhyped. I was expecting chocolate in the middle rather than a flavoured sauce to dip.
