
This flour is perfect for anyone looking to try their hand at #seitan from scratch. When I’m tired of tofu, “wheat meat” (image 3) is my easy, budget-friendly, and highly customizable protein of choice. I can’t produce consistent results yet — the texture and flavor vary slightly with each batch — but this vital wheat gluten definitely makes the job a lot easier!
The quality is great, and Anthony’s is also a tad less expensive than its competition when ordered online. This 4lb bag will provide many meals, each one an opportunity to hone my seitan-crafting skills. In the first picture, you can see how I prepared it for a recent work lunch!
