Seared Porcini Gnocchi en Barbette — Reseña de Iszy (6 ago 2022)

This is Barbette's entry for the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge. It's sooo incredible and I really hope they see how much everyone loves it and decide to make it a permanent addition to the menu! The gnocchi's texture isn't traditional, but it's so savory since it's made with porcini mushrooms. It also has arugula, broccolini, Calabrian chilies, and almond crème. The almond crème was so delicious and unlike anything I've had before. It has a sweetness that almonds have but was so incredibly creamy. The chilies gave the slightest burn. The only thing I'd change is add more broccolini. I counted only three small pieces. It's $22 which is more than I usually spend, but this is a very creative and high quality dish. It was absolutely worth it!
