Review of Cashew Milk Cream Cheese - Miyoko's Creamery by lucyfoxx
Sprout's had a digital coupon for a free Miyoko's cream cheese with the purchase of Miyoko's butter (which I love and use on the regular). I have tried and loved many of Miyoko's products. Sadly, this is the first product of hers that I did not enjoy. It's bad. Like really bad. It is wayyyyyyy too tangy and tastes nothing like cream cheese. I'll stick to my Tofutti for cream cheese. That said, I hate being wasteful so I still want to find a way to use it... perhaps in a recipe? Anybody have any ideas of how I can creatively use this? 🤔
Edit: Updating this review... the thing about this is that it tastes more like a fancy, spreadable soft cheese and not at all like cream cheese. So I put it on a plain bagel with some fresh dill and sliced tomato and it is sooo good! I guess being used to Tofutti, I was not expecting the tanginess and I def prefer Tofutti for cream cheese, but Miyoko's cream cheese definitely has its place and will work well for certain things. Also, thank you to @appleappleamanda, @shmoopsify, @tamiapple, @innerplanehoops for the suggestions of how to use it!
