I got this packet of katsu sauce in my May TVK box, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it as I’m not that big a fan of katsu curry. We ended up pouring it over rice and Like Meat Breaded Chicken (which I’ll review separately). The sauce was a slightly strange brown colour, but the texture wasn’t too bad it was fairly thick without being gloopy. The taste was not very good, it was very sickly sweet yet also quite spicy. I didn’t enjoy this very much and wouldn’t have it again. You get 100g in the packet, which is two servings, for £1.15 which is okay value.
