I love how many vegan options this brewery and taproom has. Almost all of their sandwiches can be made vegan using local seitan from @seitansrealmcbus. They also have a large craft beer selection from nearby Yellow Springs OH. I generally wouldn't trust a tofu bowl at a brewery, as many don't know how to cook or season tofu well, but this place was an exception! This grain bowl was so tasty - cooked and seasoned very well. A bit nuts that you have to pay $5 to add tofu, but the total came to only $15 so still very reasonable. And, vegan options are HALF OFF on Mondays, which is an amazing deal. This bowl comes with seasoned quinoa, roasted chickpeas, marinated cremini mushrooms, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, and pickled onions. Topped with a tasty house citrus vinaigrette. Yes, we tried 4 sandwiches. Haha, but at $7, you can't beat that price! This was a delicious sandwich, but my least favorite out of the four. The sandwich comes with seasoned eggplant, zucchini, and balsamic-roasted portabella #mushrooms 🍄 It's also topped with that delicious #vegan pesto and fresh arugula, and served on a toasted ciabatta bun. I really liked the balsamic mushrooms. They had a really nice distinctive flavor. This was my favorite sandwich on the menu. It was so flavorful and you can't beat the Meatless Monday price of $7. This sandwich comes with Seitan's Realm #seitan chicken, topped with #dairyfree mozzerella, sun-dried tomato spread, and even a vegan pesto. It's served on a toasted ciabatta bun. Because the seitan itself is wheat and dense, this sandwich would also be good on their thinner sourdough! The #vegan pesto was seriously delicious 😋 and it truly brought this sandwich to life. I was hesitant to try this because I don't care for seafood flavor. I really liked this. It didnt have a lot of fishy flavor and honestly tasted like a vegan chicken salad with chickpeas. It was really good and I would order it again. The #vegan tuna was made from chickpeas mashed with mayo, mustard, onion, celery, sweet relish, salt, and pepper. The sandwich comes with lettuce and tomato, and served on toasted sourdough. There is also a #glutenfree version of this sandwich. This was also half off on Monday making it around $7. This was another great dish. If you go during Happy Hour, these are $2 off! They ended up giving me these on the house when they saw me taking photos! I really liked the flavor of these fries. They have the same "Dragon Sauce" as the sweet + spicy chicken. I don't love #spicy and I was so happy that these leaned to the sweet side. They're also topped with a crunchy peanut slaw. I'm so excited about Yellow Springs Brewery + Taproom. They introduced meatless mondays where all their #vegan sandwiches are half off! They have several vegan sandwich options ( and appetizers) and they source their vegan meats from Seitan's Realm! I ended up doing a really fun giveaway with them in Columbus to get the community out. This sandwich was only $7. That is a GREAT deal. Another cool thing about this is many of the vegan restaurants in Columbus are closed on Monday, so this is a great option and HOPEFULLY these prices will influence non-vegans to try their veggie options. #veganproud This sandwich was really good. It had a Seitan's Realm patty that was coated in a house sweet and spicy sauce (Dragon Sauce). The flavor was great and it also had a nice crunchy peanut slaw and pickles.
