So I hadn’t had #pig soup too much prior to going vegan but even I knew this wasn’t authentic— @m1tch9i was able to back me up on this 😅 It’s far too clean! 😆
Anything #pork is typically fatty in a way that’s hard for #fakemeat to replicate 🐖 That’s especially true with #chinesefood where #soup tends to be made from the fatter, belly cuts 😢 Imagine spending your whole life being stuffed for this one purpose? 😞
This is much more #healthy and kinder and frankly? Delicious! 😋
Not all the foods we eat are going to be exactly the same as their animal-based counterparts, but traditions and cultures have changed and so can our food 🍲
In this case? They need the #veganpork intestine rolls they have in their #kwaychap in this 🫢 The #tofu and #tvp are nice but that would elevate it to a hundred! 💯
For S$5.70 I was actually able to get two meals out of this. They literally gave an entire mountain of rice!
Oh, and I should add that you actually have the option of topping that rice with either a #curry or #gravy for free! 😄 I went the latter because I get my #spicy from the #cilipadi anyways 😛
