This was surprisingly v savoury and flavourful, mostly from the patty. Burger bun was fluffy! W a nice golden sheen top - which gets a perfect crackly crisp if you toast/air fry reheat slightly!
Ate one from the fridge cold and the burger definitely held up well, and maybe even tasted better eaten this way? 🤔
Was a very neat burger and easy to eat but I definitely would have liked more veggies, so just topped up more at home🙃 says chili jam but you won’t detect any spice. It was more like a Jammy tomato sauce 🍅 . Patty was a good moist texture - packed but not dry dense, creamy but not soft. An overall wonderful burger experience although I have to say I was initially quite doubtful since the pinkness from beetroot and exterior kinda made me wonder if they were trying to imitate meat patties too much which… is not a happy reminder 🤨
I ordered this as part of a mixed savoury-sweet box from their online store and understand it’s sent from their HQ kitchen. so you might not find this mini versions at the actual store, unless you pre-order in advance & pick-up. You also can opt for the same filling but in croissant 🥐 online. In stores, I do know they have the standard size beetroot avo Sandwich which I believe is the same/similar filling.
