I love that they use #tofu from Ota Tofu. Ota Tofu is the oldest tofu shop in the US and located in Portland. It is excellent quality!! This dish has braised Ota Tofu, #edamame pate, jasmine #rice, mixed spring greens, pickled #carrot & #daikon, #cucumber, #tomato, #cilantro, and #jalapenos, topped with #crispy #shallots. Served with #soysauce. Delicious!! Banh Mi Up is not a fully vegan establishment but they do have a lot of vegan options! This place seems quite vegan-friendly with so many vegan dishes and vegan milk alternatives for drinks. We've had no problem with Banh Mi Up until this meal. This dish comes with braised #tofu, garlic wheat noodles,  parmesan cheese, green onions and mixed spring greens. I asked for no cheese and for this dish to be prepared completely vegan. They left off the cheese but served this dish with fish sauce 🤢 I didn't realise til I poured it all over my noodles. Thankfully I was refunded for this dish. I don't know if the fish sauce normally comes with this tofu dish, or if this was an accident, but beware when ordering here!  The tofu here is good. Sweet and delicious! I thought this would be made with some kind of black tea but it had kind of a floral taste so I'm wondering if I was actually given a jasmine milk tea boba instead! Either way, it was delicious and I enjoyed it! I will try the jasmine milk tea boba next time to see if they are different! These milk tea boba drinks are made with your choice of coconut milk or oat milk. Delightful Iced Thai Tea with Boba! Very delicious black with with spices. Maybe star anise, cardamom, and cinnamon? Bold flavor and lovely orange color from the spices. The first time I ordered boba from this place they did not give me boba straws so I bought my own reusable boba straws. This dish was delicious!! It has Banh Mi Up's famous housemade vegan roasted pork belly, which is #crispy and tastes incredible! It comes with wheat noodles drenched in their secret sauce, topped with green onions and served with mixed spring greens. Make sure to ask for NO CHEESE on the noodles for this dish to be vegan.  For some reason this dish normally comes with cow cheese even though it has the word vegan in the dish name! One of my favorites from Banh Mi Up! This dish has their amazing housemade vegan roasted pork belly, vermicelli rice noodles, lettuce, fresh herbs, cucumber, beansprouts, pickled carrot & daikon, jalapeños, and is topped with crushed cashews and crispy shallots. Served with soy sauce and a mung bean & taro egg roll. SO satisfying!! I also recommend their vegan pork belly sandwich, vegan spicy noodle soup, vegan Vietnamese coffee, lychee mojito, Italian soda and boba drinks. This #mojito is non-alcoholic. It has #passionfruit, simple syrup, #lime juice and #mint. This #beverage was delicious and #sour. If you prefer sweet #drinks, I recommend their Lychee Mojito! I love the drinks here!! They also offer vegan Vietnamese Coffee, boba, and Italian sodas. The food here is phenomenal too. Our favorite dishes are the Vegan Pork Belly Sandwich and  the Vegan Spicy Noodle Soup.
