'Seafood' pancake with #sglocal #oatside oat milk as the base, stuffed with konjac prawns and squid. I'm not usually a fan of konjac mock seafood, but they were quite QQ and worked well here in the fried batter, reminiscent of McDonald's Ebi Shrimp Burger! Topped with mildly spicy housemade Hao Gan Ma (made using dried mushrooms, fried garlic and shallot, red chilli, konbu kelp, and spices), alongside creamy housemade vegan mayonnaise (made using soy milk, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, white miso paste, and Dijon mustard). The overall dish was a bit like a fusion take on okonomiyaki. Slightly greasy but very indulgent and delicious. Non-veg friend approved too! (Contains alliums, $18) #sgvegan #veganseafood

Charcoal-roasted cauliflower on a bed on burnt spring onion vegan mayonnaise that tasted somewhat similar to sour cream, with a drizzle of housemade chilli and sprinkle of chopped chives. Nonetheless nicely presented and one of the few items in the menu not focusing on plant-based meat substitutes. Personally would have preferred the texture to be more tender on the inside, and also would have liked more spices as seasoning because the flavour was mostly only carried by the burnt spring onion vegan mayonnaise. I had this #japanese dish as part of my #abillion farewell lunch 😢 It was a very creative concept for sure! I got it because it was one of the lighter-seeming dishes in their otherwise heavy menu, and it did not disappoint in that regard! The #seaweed and spring onion added a nice punch of flavor to the dish. The meat skewers were flavorful and savory as well, with a nice texture. I have to admit though, the #veganegg did not resemble real egg much in texture or appearance. So overall this dish definitely wouldn’t fool a nonvegan, but it was still #yummy in its own right! The ambience at the restaurant was pleasant and made for a nice space for my coworkers and I to say our farewells. It was nicely decorated and the service was good.
