This was decent, simple. I’m sure this was #veganized from a “cream of” #soup, hence the lack of body — no substitutes were made, such as potato to thicken leading to an overall watery composition 🥔 This tends to be the trend with omnivore restaurants, where we are spoiled with more careful executions in plant-based restaurants 😇 It extends to other omnivore foods to be fair such as cream-based carbonara 🤮 This #pumpkinsoup was unfortunately lacking in that same vein and just felt, just a little 🤏, off.

I don’t know what exactly made this #greek 😁 but hmm… I guess #olives 🫒 and onions do have that association in my mind too 😆 Maybe? This was pre-ordered, presumably on the menu, but #veganized for us fussier of attendees 🌱 so perhaps it’s missing some #feta or #tzatziki that would’ve otherwise been there 🤷‍♀️ It’s anyone’s guess but really even as is, this was a great salad! Super savoury and very well mixed 😋 You could feel the oil oozing off of every #lettuce 🥗 My only complaint is ratio of #onions to everything else 🥲 Just a little bit less would’ve faired a more appealing salad at the end, my being the resident rabbit at the table expected to eat what was left of it. Otherwise? Order on 😗

It’s been a moment since I’ve had #westernfood style dishes and this 👆 did not disappoint 😋 It’s Virgo season so naturally we’re out for @m1tch9i’s mom birthday 🎈 and she invites us to this restaurant where they custom-prepared an entire course for us 🙀 Yes, this #tofusteak was entirely #offthemenu! Upon sampling however, it’s definitely something they should consider keeping on 😋 The #tofu portion is generous, at 2 extra large slabs resting atop some sautéed #kingoystermushrooms 🍄‍🟫 Though, at Kuching tofu prices I know the profit margin on such a dish could be excellent 😉 Each slab was topped with an #onion 🧅 based garnish that could have been a little more savoury for the likes of @m1tch9i and her sister 🫣 Her sister’s boyfriend and I however were partial to it 😌 Same goes for the roasted #bellpeppers and #tomato 🍅 They were excellent! 👌 but perhaps not for those who aren’t fans of sweeter things on their plate 🍽️ This was overall excellently executed & here’s to hoping they can come up with other #veganfriendly options in the future 😇
