unfortunately i was a little disappointed by this waffle. The inside of this café is lovely and i really appreciated their offer sinse everything is organic and vegan and gluten free friendly but i think this waffle was not worth the price. i know that average price of waffles in bruxelles is high (too high) but i would have preferred a little more chocolate that just a light drizzle, since i paid this €10. again, i loved their menu and the fact that they claim to be #zerowaste and #organic, but this waffle didn’t win me over :/

Great variety of foods, this #antipasti plate offered #avocado, #pepper, #artichoke, #mushroom, #pickles, #beetroot, #vegancheese, #olive tapenade, dried tomatoes, #hummus, and it was served with tortilla chips. Loved the variety, although it did come with a hiiigh cost (26€), but hey, I knew Brussels’ prices are not Barcelona’s prices🤗

First #Belgian #waffle of the trip, this was a savoury one topped with the most delicious #smokedcheese , dried #tomatoes , #avocado and #walnuts . It looks all green and healthy (the waffle dough contains spinach), but the taste was magnificent, I truly loved it. Thank you @curtistheweirdcat for taking me here🥰

Waffles here are vegan and #glutenfree, made with chickpea and rice flour and banana. The vegan sunrise is topped with vg cheese dried tomato, avocado, walnuts and sprouts. It’s as yummy as it sounds. Enjoyable, but a bit pricey. If you’re after a light lunch you could consider. They do have sweet waffles as well. #belgianwaffles Close to the Brussels city museum and Grand Place: one to consider if you’re planning a visit to the museum and need food after. Not vegan but with plenty of options. Vg breakfasts, and Sandwiches, salads, also waffles (Sweet/Savoury). Food isnt the cheapest. Bathrooms require going up some stairs. #brussels #museumeats

The sandwiches in this place have rather peculiar names that don’t necessarily describe their ingredients, (I might of course be missing clues though). Here the make me smile has slices of a not-zerella vegan cheese, and artichokes on focaccia bread. The sandwiches are served with soup, which on this rainy day was pretty yummy and very welcome. I did think that this meal was really pricey though, for what i received, and probably i couldve gotten something else for cheaper etc. #fauxmage #vegancheese #soup #sandwich A stone’s throw from the Brussels city museum, if you’re planning a visit and looking for spots for lunch after. Amazing antipasti selection, the cheese could be improved though but no complaints besides the fact that it was a bit pricey. It’s lovely to find so many vegan options though all put together in one dish!

Vegan and gluten-free waffles right next to the Brussels grand place! The vegan cheese they use is not the best in my opinion but they’re still very nice. They are also so filling we couldn’t have a sweet one next so beware. I remember preferring the sugary ones :) This is such a cute eco cafe and would absolutely recommend 🌱

@brentvda’s meal at The Sister Brussels café. It was just ok, very plain and dry falafel. The soup was good #ibsfriendly This, and the Ginger #falafel (or just the soup) were the only #soyfree (+vegan) options :( But glad they had one! 😊 Also, they had #glutenfree beer, which we didn’t even know existed! 😃 We wanted to go to the famous Veganwaf for dessert as it’s like a 2 minute walk from there, but there was a very long line 🥲🥲 so we skipped As i already said, i would recommend this café but, you have to be a city person 😅 #veganinbrussels

Don’t look at this rating cause I’m sure it’s objectively very good, I just really didn’t like it 🥲 To begin with, this was a very hot day. This restaurant is located in the very centre of Brussels. So there were an INSANE (😭) amount of people on the streets. We hated it. (Not to mention driving in Brussels is extremely stressfull, do NOT come by car!) Then, i’m so sorry if this sounds rude but it’s not meant to be i swear! 😭 But flemish people generally tend to be more preserved, shy and quiet. Whilst people from Brussels, or the French in general, tend to be more loud and socially outgoing. This bothered us alot since the personel was even louder than the customers, they were constantly talking and laughing and it was not fun… It’s rare to find a savory waffle in Belgium, it’s just very weird to us. So i was curious to try it! But i hated it! 🥲🥲 Sorry, but waffles are for sweet things like chocolate or fruit!! 🍓🍫🥝 Anyways, i think we will come back but on a more rainy day and by train maybe 😅 This is not an all vegan restaurant, but they do have lots of options! 😋 #veganinbrussels #savourypastry #veganin2023
