Has a kind of mindy taste which at first feels strange but interesting. VFM. No

sugar, just sweetener (which I find unnecessary)

My first time seeing tigers nut milk or the Santal brand😃 Found this one at

Pick n Pay for R29.95, which is about R10 less than most plant-based milk. So, of course, I had to try it 😉
The taste is similar to almond milk; nutty and slightly bitter. It's great in tea and for breakfast and smoothies, but a bit watery for coffee. The one thing I found, that often happens with nut milks, is that it separates if you drink slowly like I do. But all you need is another stir and then it's perfect again 😊
I'd like to try the soy milk next time.

The only complaint (?) I have, or rather something i found strange, was that there was no vegan labelling on the box. The 'UHT process' and 'lactose free' had me worried that it might be a blend of nut and cow milk but looking at the ingredients i couldn't find anything about cow's milk. Still, it would be nice to have clearer labelling.

One of the worst plant based milks I have tasted. It has a very sweet

artificial sweetener flavour and is has a lot of white particles floating around.
💰R42 at pick n pay.

Cheaper than other plant based milks but definitely not worth it. This has a very

sour taste to it and separates A LOT in coffee and tea. It has a strong taste and is not the best for beverages but works okay in coffee. It is sweetened and definitely is not compatible with other flavourants and sweeteners. It does work well in oats and other porridge though.
