I saw this #pea crumb product on the app before, so when I saw it today at No Frills, I got excited! I was looking for a breadcrumb to make a tofu-coated dish, so I thought this product was perfect. It is only pea #protein and it seems to have pretty good nutritional values! It was around $3.50. I used half the package in the recipe. I used it tonight to make these delicious chickpea-battered tofu bites for an epic ceasar salad dinner! I made a wet batter of oat milk and Chickpea flour. Then the dry mix was pea protein, nutritional yeast, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, sesame seeds. It turned out nicely, but next time I would marinate the inside of the tofu, as it tasted bland on the inside. However, it was better with my homemade ceasar dressing. And the vegan rice paper bacun. It was a filling and delicious dinner!

We were looking for Panko crumbs for some homemade tofu nuggets, and found these pea crumbs instead. Haven't seen them before, but of course the plant based branding drew us in 😁. Turns out they worked very well on the nuggets, being crunchy and toasty! A bit of 🫛 #protein is an extra bonus. Can't wait to try on other dishes!
A great substitute for bread crumbs and way to add extra protein and iron to our pasta dishes or veggie balls. Tastes great and the bag was only $3.
I got these to try instead of bread crumbs. I made “meat”balls tonight and you wouldn’t be able to tell I used pea crumbs instead of bread crumbs. #veganisnotscary
