Olive Bruschetta

Is this just a bunch of chopped up olives in a jar? Yes. Can you make this yourself? Probably. Is this more convenient to buy than making it yourself? Definitely. It’s nothing special and doesn’t have anything noteworthy to say, other than it’s just a convenient jar of a medley of chopped olives. Sometimes I’ll add a scoop on top of my pasta or use it for a charcuterie board. The jar is also nice to clean & reuse after. #olives #olivelover

This was a really yummy thing to snack on while waiting for dinner to be ready. Olives just feels so right in the summer, especially paired with a nice baguette. When I saw "olive bruschetta", I thought, you mean tapenade?! I guess tapenade would be more finely blended into a spread, while this still maintains the bruschetta texture with large chunks, making it more of a topping rather than a spread. I enjoyed the addition of the red pepper strips. I'm sure something like this is easy to make and it was probably overpriced at Lunds & Byeryls. It was nice simply on slices of baguette, but I'm sure you could really dress it up with pesto, a nice vegan cheese, and maybe some vegan sliced meat. #olives #bruschetta #tapenade #italian #french #snack #appetizer #peppers
