This is not bad. I bought it from Village Grocer in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It’s pretty stringy and stretchy when heated and goes well on top of #pasta dishes and seared #hamburgers. It’s got a pretty mild #cheesy flavour, but I don’t have cheese often to comment on whether it’s better. I’m sure it’ll be great on pizzas. This cost around $10 in Singaporean dollars after conversion. #villagegrocer

I'm mostly plant based and don't usually eat vegan cheese. But my husband is trying veganuary and we've both bought several types of cheese to get him through it. This was great. The flavor of the shreds before heating was delicious. It tasted like genuine mozzarella. I couldn't taste it as much on the pizza with the other toppings, but the mouth feel was great. It melted nicely, but also stuck to the pizza well. It was creamy and not greasy.

This is another great melter from Daiya! I put these shreds on my veggie hash and didn't even need to steam it for it to melt! I'm planning on making a lasagna with it this week as well. Mozzarella doesn't have as much flavor as cheddar, so it's harder to speak to the flavor compared to dairy. I just love that it gives that creamy and sticky texture I look for when I cover something in cheese. Bought this since my local supermarket no longer stocks the Violife version and I like it even better! It melts well ons pizza and even becomes a bit crispy on top.
