I think the taste is relatively unchanged from the old recipe, which is good; it still tastes like mozzarella as it should.  I bought this package of Daiya Mozza Shreds at No Frills. I think the price was around $5.49 which I think was a sale price. I used the cheese on pizza and occasionally I’ve sprinkled it on top of pasta. The last two photos in this post show the cheese’s before and after appearance on the pizzas. You can see how the cheese has melted in the last photo after being in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. Each serving (1/4 cup) provides 10% of your day’s recommended calcium intake. The saturated fat content is high, but I don’t think it’s overall too bad for you (but I’m not a doctor 😜). I will definitely be buying this cheese again. 






I think there have been at least 4 Daiya recipes in the time I've been vegan, and I don't like change 😅 I really liked the cutting board shreds, so I'm not happy to have to get used to a new style. That said, I added these to my hashbrown fry-up and they melted wonderfully. Mozzarella doesn't give much flavour so I didn't notice much other than the creamy and gooey, which was great!
