Basic #veganporridge Not much flavour in the porridge itself but it’c complemented with the #vegetables toppings on Their signature fried #seaweed ,braised #peanuts very typical of chinese porridge I ate it with lots of #chillipadi

You cannot go wrong at Yi Xin 😋 The food is just so consistently good! I just knew this #porridge was going to be good based on all the #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease fritters they’ve got going on on top 🤤 I never figured out what it exactly was… a #deepfried and #battered vegetable it seems? I was too keen to gobble it all up 🦃 Other than the fritters though there’s not much going on inside this thine #veganporridge so if you’re looking for something a bit right of #umami lane this would not be your first choice 😬

Little do we know that this cute bowl of warm porridge packs quite the punch with a variety of flavours and textures using crispy soy flakes, crunchy vege and marinated mock meat with braised peanuts. Filled me up quite nicely after a workout. Definitely returning to try the rest of their menu

Enjoyable albeit Chinatown belt pricing at 4 per rice bowl serving *growling*
