Ghost Ramen in Victoria was sooo good! 👻 And it’s located in Victorias vibrant Chinatown. 🇨🇳 This #vegan Yasai Ramen is made with clear vegan broth seasoned with shoyu, and topped with tofu slices, dried tomatoes, seasoned bamboo shoots, pickled shitake, green onions, and pea shoots simmering amongst Tokyo-style noodles. 🇯🇵 It was comforting and light and very flavorful. 😋 Our server was from Japan and very sweet and helpful when it came to letting us know which ramens can be made vegan. This particular ramen is the only one listed ‘vegan’ on the menu, but most of the other kinds can also be made vegan. I highly recommend checking out this place if you’re ever in Victoria! #ghostramen #victoriabc #victoriaveganeats #supportlocal #japanesecuisine #ramen #veganramen #japanesefood #veganjapanesefood
This is a really solid miso broth ramen. It is one of the better options here in Victoria. They make the noodles in house and the broth hits all the right notes. I prefer a Tantan creamy ramen which they don’t offer vegan but I’m happy they have a couple solid choices. Try the bao too. Follow @vegoutvictoria for more local food reviews.
We were super happy with the flavor of the broth and the variety of fresh ingredients. Just wish it was bigger!
Broth was excellent and light. The tofu is cooked to perfection. Dried tomatoes was a good touch. Overall delicious and I would definitely get again!
I wish they had more than 1 vegan ramen to choose from. I had a creamy vegan ramen in Whistler that was amazing… maybe someday. But still, this is so good. The mushrooms are my favourite part and I always ask for extra tofu for +$3.
