The Shakshuka

🍲 It consisted of some vegetables in tomate souce (too spicy for me), the tofu scramble (really good), and "chorizo" (my favourite part), accompanied with a salad and pita bread. I couldn't really enjoy the main dish, because it was so spicy for me. I would have liked it is was stated in the menu. Otherwise, the tofu and chorizo were really good. 🏠 💁 Vegan restaurant outside the city center. It is a nice place. 🌱 Completely vegan. They have so many original options. 💲 The price was 14.50 SGD. The shakshuka used to be a solid pick, but it feels like it’s lost its appeal. The tomato base and vegan sausage are still decent, but the tofu scramble portion seems noticeably smaller than what they used to serve. Much like their BBQ sausage pizza, it’s another dish that feels a bit run down compared to what it was a few years ago.

Absolutely love the vibes in here. Shakshuka tastes real good especially the pita bread. The salad can be put inside the pita and dipped into the base. It has soy sausages in it with the tofu that acts as an egg. The taste buds go real phenomenal over these one. I've heard Soul Kind Cafe which was another vegan friendly cafe got closed down in the same street. Sad to hear that, trying my best to support these restaurants with inflation toiling us around.

Visited on their last day of operations at the Upper Thomson outlet with my JC bestie 🥲 It used to be a tradition for us to head there after every final paper / during sch hols, and we continued visiting from time to time for catch-up sessions throughout our uni years and after graduation. Gonna head to WS Deli in Jurong from now on for their delicious food! Ordered one of our fav items: 🍅 Shakshuka w tofu scramble & brown rice Super flavourful and nutritious tangy & umami tomato stew with assorted beans and peas like edamame and chickpeas. FIVE STARS!! shakshuka is like a tomato stew with capsicums and mixed beans with tofu scramble (they also sell the stew separately in packets if you wanna cook them by yourself at home!!). omigawd the stew was absolutely amazing and the tofu scramble combi was 💯💯💯 it comes with a side salad, and your choice of pita bread/rice. i chose pita bread, which went so well with the stew :”) i would highly recommend this dish!! love this so much!!!
