An amazing vegan version of cereal butter prawns made with deep fried oyster shrooms tossed in crunchy oats. Lovely fragrance from the curry leaves and a little spicy kick from the chilli. Definitely a zi char classic that I’ve missed! Cleaned out the entire plate, not even a single crumb of toasted oatmeal was left lol. 46 #daystreak

Super hearty and affordable meal!! 9 items!! Cereal mushrooms good as usual, licked up every speck of cereal. Also got takeaway all with my own containers!! Zero-waste yay.

Sure looks like spiders burrowing in sand doesn't it? But it's a good 'ol plate of my favourite crispy oatmeal mushrooms that's so addictive with rice or even on it's own! This dish, commonly regarded as Cereal Oyster Mushrooms, is sweetened, so I personally recommend it's best with rice and a side of cut chilli padis in light sauce to balance the palate. Ps, my second time ordering!
