Middle Eastern Avocado Toast

Usually topped with poached eggs, the vegan version of this toast came with cumin-lime spiced roasted chickpeas. Loved how crunchy and aromatic the chickpeas were (kinda like kacang putih ahaha). The bread also came slathered in chipotle-cumin hummus, stacked with a generous amount of creamy avocado, as well as sprinkled in pumpkin seed dukkah and chilli flakes. 🍞🥑🧆🌶️ Served with a salad mix of mesclun leaves, cherry tomatoes, and pomegranate seeds. 🥗 Pricey but it was wholesome and delicious! #forthepence I think it was a $21 platter and best viewed from afar; the gal brought home #leftovers for her mom, yay! 🤢 She couldn't get past the #spicy aspect and her mom on the sheer volume of #onions on a soggy #toast sufficient to fend off a community of draculas, not to mention the extra brushing routine after the first lick 🤮 but that's on me #avocado #pomegranate #dukkah

It’s all right but for the taste a bit expensive. Also it is quite spicy so If you don’t like that let them know.

Eeek 😬. I don’t know what happened to this avocado toast! I think it was nuts crushed on top? I thought it was supposed to come like this so I didn’t say anything to the server…. I mean I assumed they wouldn’t serve it if it’s not supposed to look like that? The taste wasn’t great but okay. Mostly the texture just ruined it and it made my mouth feel claggy. The side salad was the best bit (and I don’t usually like side salad 😅). I love the food at Prive but I won’t be getting this again.
