Kale Caesar Wrap

This is another restaurant that I had discovered during the 2022 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge. Organic kale, capers, maple tempeh bacon, house-made Caesar dressing, and lemon, all warmed on the grill. DELICIOUS! It was so good i went back two days later and got the same thing.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't have high expectations; kale and tempeh are hit or miss ingredients for me. I stopped by to knock out another entry on the Vegan Chef Challenge because this restaurant is so convenient to get to by bike. I am so glad I did! This was such an amazing wrap. The kale wasn't too tough or bitter and paired super well with the lemony Caesar dressing. The seasoned tempeh also blew me away. It was nice and salty and very umami and added much needed weight to the wrap. The texture was also perfect since it was really tender. At $12 it felt reasonably priced to me. It's a huge wrap. I had to save half for second dinner! The chips aren't salted much but are great dipped in the extra dressing they give you. The dressing has a warmth to it that traditional Caesar is missing.
