The wait is over! Hi Flora! is now open 5pm - 11pm Wednesday - Sunday. This all vegan, alcohol free, THC tincture slinging restaurant has been on my mind all spring. The space is so beautiful and I really hope it takes off! They're still in the soft opening phase, so maybe the word just needs to spread. It's in an amazing location, but I might be biased.
This quesadilla is truly incredible! It's considered a small plate, but it is big enough for a main dish. It's $11, which is pretty reasonable I think. The portions here are larger than I expected, in a good way! The cheese was melted but the quesadilla wasn't over stuffed. The guacamole is nice, but I was really in love with their sour cream. It's really flavorful and actually sour. This was a great dish on a hot night.
They do add on a 20% gratuity for higher wages. The checkout screen still asks if you want to leave a tip when you check out, but the pre-set percentages are much lower than usual, so you feel much less pressure. I'm really thankful for that because I never know how the automatic gratuity and tip work together.
