Jono and I make so many fried oyster mushroom po'boys, but we've never tried any
at a restaurant. On our first stop in Madison I was happy to see that Green Owl had their own version. The breading on the mushrooms was incredibly crispy. I would guess they have some Old Bay seasoning in it that gives it some good ocean flavor. It was pretty salty, and the pickle added to that. I did really like the remoulade sauce. I think I prefer our homemade po'boys, but it was fun to try another rendition.
