My mind is blown at just how insanely good Afro's Pizza' crust is 🤯🤤💚 If you're seeing this review and you live in or Near Toronto, you NEED to check this place out. It's a take-out place, but there are several picnic tables outside if you wanna have your pizza extra fresh. Please note: We tried to make it as clear as possible that everything we ordered was to be vegan since it was our first time there and we weren't sure exactly what all the substitutions (other than cheese) we had to make were (for the preset pizzas). The owner came out and went over everything with us and the person who was taking our order, but despite this, one of the 4 pizzas we ordered came out with (non-vegan) parmesan on it. The person who took our order notified us about the parm before handing it to us and asked if it was still ok... I thought it should have been clear that we didn't want any dairy, but anyway... They remade the pizza right away without the parm, so we didn't have to wait too much longer even though it was very busy at that point. I got the sense that either this place and/or the person taking the order is relatively new. No big deal. I'm sure as more vegans frequent this place, those kinks will get worked out.

I can’t get over this place!! Their pizzas are soooo yummy!! In my opinion this one is even better than the Marley but that’s only because I freaking LOVE mushrooms. Oh and the crust is more than wonderful!!! Btw this place has gotten extremely crowded after an influencer posted a review of their pizzas on IG (and good for them!! Happy to see small businesses thriving!!) - so be ready to see a line when you get to Afro’s Pizza *don’t forget to ask them to use vegan cheese #MyPizzaCollection
