apologise for calling this Sarawakian 🤮 Sure, maybe my assessment is not the best cause it’s a #takeout but I’ve definitely had better #meekolok flight-couriered by friends visiting Singapore before 🦭 The #noodles were all soggy! Not to mention the flavouring being just #soysauce too 😵‍💫 I ate a lot of Halal non-pork based #meekolok growing up & even those don’t taste like this. I’m so glad I’m heading back to Kuching this week 😂 I think the #mince and the #yuba were alright though 😇 Just don’t anok mek orang punya makanan by calling this Sarawakian okay sekian terima thanks ✌️

The dish comes with #kolomee coated in sauce, #lettuce, cooked leafy vegetables, a bunch of

#shiitake mushrooms, and two thin pieces of some fried thing. It also comes with the typical free soup with garnishes. I think I've been spoiled by certain kolo mees in the past, to the point where it almost seems like most others don't taste as good. This dish is decent though not my favourite, and I really enjoyed the taste of the #mushrooms when mixed throughout the noodles, with a burst of sweetness and savouriness. It is a nice #accessible option in the Chinatown area, and I do like that it comes with 2 types of vegetables in the dish itself, although more would be even better.
