Another one of the new dishes is tempeh goreng, served with a sweet sticky, spicy
soy sauce. Nice as a side dish. The tempeh was good quality and fried to perfection.

The tempeh is coated with a batter and deep fried....it can actually pass for chicken
nuggets 😂. Not a bad choice as a side dish.
The taste of the tempeh itself was quite disappointing actually. Didn’t have any flavour? Was
a bit dry too. The sauce was good though! Made the dish an average one.

Really have to give it up to Warung Ijo for their deep-frying prowess - their
deep-fried dishes always arrive at the table perfectly done. Crispy and beautifully fried, somehow don't feel too oily. Bit of a miracle! Love the taste and texture of these tempeh nuggets too - they actually feel almost like chicken nuggets. Yum. #abillionlove #vegancny

It was not bad, but I wished it would have a stronger tempeh taste. Right
now it feels like eating fried batter mostly
I would go back for this every time! Very well fried so that it's not
overly oily and it doesn't obscure the taste of the delicious tempeh. It also has many pieces. The sauce is kecap manis with chili and so so good with this!
Crisp and fresh tempeh. @xueqi shockingly ate it as the taste wasn’t too strong. Dipping
sauce seems to be kicap manis!
Tempeh fried with fritters! Abit dry but that is what tempeh is😄 and a sauce
which is not too spicy.
