Located in Clintonville, 6-1-Pho 🍜 specializes in freshly made Vietnamese street food. This really is a hidden gem for vegans in Columbus. They don't promote themselves super well as having a lot of vegan options or catering to vegans, but almost everything on their menu can be made vegan! 🌿 The staff is also super knowledgeable and kind.
We ordered a side of the vegetarian 'egg' rolls that they actually can make #vegan A serving comes with 3 rolls for $7.75 They do acknowledge a price increase on their menu as food prices have gone up around the world since covid. These rolls had #Tofu, mushrooms, 🍄 fresh cabbage, carrots,🥕 taro, and onion and then are deep fried, so they were bit on the oily side. Again, make sure to clarify vegan! The eggless wrapper was a bit dry, but the rolls had a lot of flavor inside. I really like taro, which isn't something many vegan friendly places have in Columbus! They also come with a side of #sweet dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend trying these for yourself as they pair well with all their main dishes!
