Nipped in to Kunthaville for carrot cake but went down the rabbithole to face off against this elevated dessert in a glass instead! Kunthaville's vegan take on wattalapam, a Sri Lankan dessert of chilled coconut custard that traditionally contains egg and condensed milk, was just splendid. Topped with dark, decadent palm sugar jaggery, this dessert was pure indulgence. Lovely place too for a quick stop amidst the bustle of Little India.
