This red velvet cake has cream cheese frosting between the two cake layers and vanilla
frosting on the outside. The heart and blood layers are fondant, which I normally don't enjoy, but I really loved theirs. I couldn't tell if it was the vanilla frosting or the fondant, but there was a note of marshmallow in there somewhere that I liked very much. I've never been the biggest fan of red velvet (my daughter picked this one out), but I enjoyed this cake immensely.
