Sumo platter

We were in the mood for a savory treat and the Sumo Platter hit the

spot. It’s always served nice and hot and I love the variety of textures and flavors. The Crunchy No Wings Strips are my personal favorite— and the smiley fries, which serve as a quick palate cleanser between all the salty, spicy, crunchy goodness.

As for the sauces, we always empty out the Blue Daddy first. But we are flavor junkies and feel that the other sauces could be more outspoken (spicier, truffle-ier, etc.) Aside from that it’s an impressive dish. 😋

This is perfect to share when you're out for drinks. Also a great way to

try most of their snacks. Their classic betterballs are my all time favourite. All the other snacks on the platter were new for me. The kalamaris rings were pretty realistic, but not really my thing. The shrimps were a nice try, but they can improve on that. The thai peanut balls were literally filled with saté sauce, I didn't hate it but it was a bit weird. And finally, loved the fly wings. I think every vegan restaurant and brand does very well on fried chicken.

Flamboyant Shrimpz (buoni e molto somiglianti), Kalamariz (non male, un po’ “pesciosi”), Pnut Thai Chik’n & Classic Betterballs (entrambe sinceramente terribili…sono polpette di carne resa cremosa, solo che erano dolciastre, quasi cioccolatose 😖), onion ringz (niente di speciale).
Non lo riprenderei perché come quantità prezzo è scelta ci sono opzioni migliori.
