Vegan Dutch Poffertjes

🇳🇱 Again I’m not sure I’m catergorizing this correctly. We were here on a Saturday as it’s a daily market at the Upmarket Brick Lane Food Hall I believe. I got very excited to see we could get vegan poffertjies here as I’ve had them a couple times before going vegan and loved them. They’re little pancakes🥞 that are typically smothered in butter🧈 and icing sugar. You could play with many vegan toppings here though. We got one with vegan Nutella 🌰🍫and strawberries🍓, yum!! The other was lemon🍋 and icing sugar and our friend was wishing for more lemon juice. It’s fun to watch her make them right in front of you while you wait. 10 pieces for £5.50 seems reasonable but it was £7.50 once I added the vegan Nutella and strawberries.
