First and foremost, major kudos to this small converted-Victorian cafe's plant-based menu which uses mostly
local, organic, non-GMO ingredients, and its emphasis on environmental sustainability. That said the French Toast was rather disappointing for the price. Levain bread in chickpea flour, cinnamon, almond milk with granola, fresh fruit, coconut whipped cream and maple syrup. Sounds great, but the toast came half burnt so it was hard to judge the flavor. And while the already-melted "whipped" cream meant that of course it was nice and warm, there wasn't much there.
