a nice seafood taste from the nori, but its not overwhelming. The batter is suburb and the chips were genuinely amazing. All the food came to the table steaming hot - I was very very impressed with Unity Diner. OMG. I’ve had tofish n chips before but this was REALLY good. Great fishy flavour, really crispy batter. Nice tartar sauce and a lemon wedge as well. The chips were excellent - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and not at all greasy.
I can thoroughly recommend this dish!
It was £9 for the meal which was very filling. I certainly didn’t need to eat anything else after it.
£9 at an event like that is kind of what you’d expect.
I don’t know if the price is different at the diner itself.

on my radar for some time, they’re cashless, paperless and non-profit (all profit goes to Surge Sanctuary). It has all sorts of comfort food in the menu and this tofish & chips dish is one of the most popular so I had to give it a try. And it delivered! It tasted just like (if not better) the comforting and yummy British fish & chips and I would order it again and again and again!

ordered this to see what all the fuss was about and OMG was I amazed! The taste is so fishy, it is unreal, tbh I thought I’d never eat something as close as fish as a vegan, but Unity has done it. And the texture is so accurate too.
Definitely not one for me, but if you were a fan of fish, you NEED this in your life.
