For $18, this is a really small portion, with or without eggs. The taste is
nothing really special, there is no presentation, I’m honestly not sure why they charge so much.
The place itself is also quite sterile, with a large canteen style room that echoes all noises especially on a busy Saturday, making it hard to have a quiet time or conversation. Their use of plastic (wrapping individual croissants in film, large plastic boxes for takeaway, etc) is shocking. If you are going to charge higher prices than Plain Vanilla for instance, you’d expect much nicer food, a more welcoming venue and eco friendly practices. It’s a shame because their location in a historical building is amazing.
I live next door and have been there well over 10 times before I posted this review, hoping they’d improve over time, but it has only gotten worse hence today’s review
