Tumeric Cashew Nuts Fried Rice

Now THIS is how you do pineapple #friedrice ‼️ ..and #pineapple isn’t even in the name 😉 Portions here are pretty huge so the price tag of RM18 (IIRC) is alright. I think they definitely justified it with the juicy #satay they had on the side 😋 I’m not sure if we had to #droptheegg here too but considering the catastrophe of them including it with our #nasilemak, I suppose this is #eggfree by default 😮‍💨 This is very #turmeric forward, giving the whole dish a nice warmth. I’d really like to visit this place again as they look really nice 😇 Shame this was just a #takeout for the train on our ride to Penang!

Always nice to have the #friedrice already #eggfree 😁 @dafnelately and I had this taken away for our train ride to Penang 😎 #throwbackthursday (to be fair I go chronologically in my reviews so it’s throwback everyday as long as my backlog exists 😅) It’s rather #pineapple forward 😙 in a way that really makes the #tumeric come alive 😋 it just makes sense in this minefield of the #aromatic😆 The #rice is such a nice bitey fluff. The #satay was a great #savoury contribution while adding even more aromatics to boost. I was most impressed and surprised by how incredibly moist and tender it was 🤤 I only wished this #asian wonder had more #cashews as it was a titular ingredient 😛 RM18 IS a hefty penny for fried rice BUT the portion is A LOT 🤩 This ain’t the only great entry from this place 😏 Just you wait…
