Yes I had hash pipe today 😮🤣 The menu lists it as poached egg or
salt n pepper tofu, caponata, roast tomato and chimichurri on a house hash. I requested it be vegan; which I think just means I got tofu not egg.
Caponata is a Sicilian 🇮🇹 dish consisting of chopped fried aubergine / eggplant and other vegetables, seasoned with olive oil, tomato sauce, celery, olives, and capers, in an agrodolce sauce.
Chimichurri is an uncooked sauce used both as an ingredient in cooking and as a table condiment for grilled meat. Found originally in Argentinian and Uruguayan cuisines 🇦🇷 🇺🇾it has become widely adopted in most of Latin America.
