Let me start by saying, the food was good, not great. The service was OK
but certainly not friendly, and the restaurant was overall just ok.
My husband had the Shiitake Curry and I had the Tofu Cashew Nuts. On the menu it says my dish is spicy, and it was not. Also my dish came out first, before my husbands’ and it was cold. How is it that the first item served is the cold one? The curry my husband ordered was very good and if I ever went back I would probably get that again. The menu is very long and extensive and apparently they know how to make every type of cuisine there is, which I find hard to believe.
The restaurant has absolutely no parking, so we drove around for a while looking for a space. The restaurant is very small and cramped. There are a number of display cases filled with assorted items for sale near the front door that only add to the cramped feeling.
The servers were attentive and took our order in a timely manner, but no one smiled, or even said hello. It was just “can I take your order”. There wasn’t really any kind of friendliness.
Being that they are vegan and have an extensive menu, I would go back again but I would definitely try something different in hopes for a better meal and I’m really hoping I simply caught the servers on a bad day.
