So happy to find a #thundertearice stall here! Comes with peanuts, diced tofu, cabbage, long beans and Chye Sim. The #leicha is a little watery but doesn't taste dilute, with a fairly strong green tea taste. Although not the best I have tried, it's definitely more than palatable, and is #affordable and worth the price at $5 for white rice and $5.50 for brown rice. #sgcheapandgood

A very straight-forward dish with no pretence. Loved the black eye peas! The tea also tastes comparatively greener than those I’ve had. Super healthy tasting, nothing overly salty here🤤

Dad dabaoed deliciously flavourful lei cha (擂茶) with black-eyed peas, mani leaves and a small bag of unpictured freshly roasted whole peanuts 😋🌟 Affordable at $4.80 (incl. 30c more for brown rice)! The paste is on the mintier side.

Love that it’s vegan, good choice of greens & beans and has brown rice option. Good pricing too :)
