I was so happy to discover that this Vancouver diner had so many vegan options!!
This diner has been around for over 100 years, and I love to see that they are evolving with the times to make their menu inclusive and vegan friendly. I went for the VLT (veggie bacon, lettuce and tomato) on sourdough bread, with vegan mayo. It was pretty tasty! I’m not sure which vegan bacon they used, but it was crispy and flavourful. If anything it was a tiny bit dry, I would prefer my bacon a bit greasier personally 😝 but to be honest the fries more than made up for the lack of grease - they were crispy and delicious! It was nostalgic having a vegan BLT as this is a sandwich I loved growing up. I would definitely come back to this restaurant and try one of their other vegan offerings! #veganisnotscary #vegandiner #vegansandwich
