Crispy feta arancini, sun-blushed tomato sauce, pine nut salad. . I'm not kidding when I say this was probably the best salad I think I've ever tried. I'd describe it as a saucy 'wet' salad. Delicious flavours and a good combination of textures. The feta arancini with its' crispy coating is something I'd love to recreate at home. I'd imagine you can easily get it wrong by making them too dense, chewy or dry. But these were beautifully cooked and worked so well with the sunblush tomatoes, rocket leaves, white cabbage, pine nuts and dressing. So satisfying. This dish is on the starter menu but I opted for it as a main, alongside some skin-on fries. Naughty but very very nice! . Please do try it if you're passing. A lovely pub to visit. Busy, yes. A little slow on the service, yes - but worth the wait. Also worth noting, it's a dog friendly pub if you're happy to sit in the bar area or garden.
