Let me share some Afternoon Tea experience in The Langham hotel in London. If you love a nice afternoon rest with a cup of tea, you can find them here in almost every hotel. A vegan option exsists and you do not have to worry about them not knowing vegans do not drink cow's milk! First you choose your type of a Tea. I went for White Tea, Jasmin. Higly recommend since it is one of my favourite. The milk served is plant-based, but I do not add milk into my tea. First on the menu, as depicted on the photo, are 4 types of sandwitches. I wish they were smaller, so I could use my fingers ( since they are finger-bites) but these were too big in my opinion and not study to use my fingers. White one has a cucumber and a plant-based cream. Red one has dominating beet taste so is my favourite. Yellow one was my husband's favourite but my least favourite. I don't remember the taste. The brown one has tofu inside. Red and White one are my top two. You will not be blown away because, if you are a vegan, these are normal tastes for you. I appriciete the tofu sandwitch. Big plus for that. After that comes the cake (third picture). It is amazing. Raspberry cake! We couldn't eat it...we were full. They will package it for you. If you have a birthday, they will put a happy birthday sign made iut of chocolate and a candle. The first layer is think crust which gives it crunchy texture. Waiters are so nice and polite and offered to take a picture of us. Piano music all the time. I was mesmerized by it. Third: 4 bite sized sweets. Second photo. Pink one was filled with cherry I think. Brown one is dark chicolate which the lowers if dark chocolate will adore. Then the cone is white chocolate also filled in with liquid-y sweet filling. Fourth, and my favorite is the left square shaped one with soft filling inside. It has tiramisu like flavour. I recomend also using fork and a knife becuse of the filling that can drip. All four are crunchy and I love the creativity. At the end: scones. These one are soft like bao buns. You will get three types of spread: lemon, peach and the red one - if I remember correctly, it is plum jam. So, I prefer scones to be a little crunchy but I would lie if I were to say I didn't like it. Another round of scones came and I couldn't open my mouth. Overall experience: 8/10, mostly because I liked Ritz more, but that is very subjective. Dress code: sport-y elegance/classic elegance. Very relaxing 😌. Piano music just...it always fills me with joy. I cannot explain it. I could just sit and listen. Bad thing: my left ear is recovering from the infection so i couldn't hear what waiters were saying to me. I felt so bad because they would say something and I wouldn't hear. I hope I did not look like a snobbish idiot. Would I recommend it: Yes. I would say, if you are looking for the summer weather, go where sport elegance is a dress code. During the winter, go to the places where you have to wear more clothes aka smart attire (I am mostly thinking about men here). Price: 75£ pp. #afternoontea #tea #vegan #veganlondon #uk #london
