i’ve been excited for this sandwich to be on rotation when i stop by kind
cleaver for MONTHS.. and i finally got to try it 🙏🙏
with two types of ham, kimchi slaw, sriracha, cucumbers… i could not wait to try this sandwich. the cucumbers on the sandwich and the crunchy kimchi slaw really came together and added some textural diversity. the meats tasted amazing as all kind cleaver meats tend to. the sandwich was large and it was packed full with goodness!
my only real issue with this sandwich was that it was so so spicy! perhaps my spice tolerance has gone down the drain, but this sandwich was genuinely hard to eat because my mouth was on fire. i did not expect it to be as spicy as it was. definitely not for those who aren’t fans of spice!
even though this sandwich was amazing texturally and flavor-wise (i loooove the kimchi slaw!) i had a lot of difficulty eating it so it’s not going to get a perfect rating; however, i think any spicy kimchi fans would adore this!
