The afternoon tea at The Ivy was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches, although I
do wish they’d been a little more adventurous and original with the fillings. The sweets were good, I wasn’t a huge fan of whatever was in the small plant pot - it seemed like runny raspberry coulis and coconut cream with shreds of coconut mixed in. I also wasn’t fond of the frozen fruit, but the cake was lovely and the passionfruit concoction in the little bottle was divine!
I really enjoyed my scones and thought overall, it was a wonderful treat for a celebration. It is a little pricey, but it was to be expected. The service and atmosphere are fabulous, so it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.
