Teriyaki Mushroom Millet Burger

I enjoyed this burger a lot, wth various in ingredients like hummus dressing, greens, well-toasted and crispy pumpkin slices, and a mullet mushroom patty. They were fresh and light, except the tough pumpkin bap bread I chose (I liked it though!). I couldn’t really taste any teriyaki component in it though, so I wouldn’t choose this if you would like a true teriyaki experience. It came with a side salad (lettuce & rocket), which balanced the flavours quite well (the salad dressing was sweeter while the burger was savoury). Overall, I would recommend this, it is quite worth your buck for the portion size and taste!

omitted the mayo as usual and got this on a beetroot bap this time. the flavor of the patty was as good as I remember it to be! the bun was unfortunately toasted for too long and the top was slightly burnt, making it extremely hard so I had to leave it out.

$15 eek >< i dont recall cedele's plant-based sandwiches being so ex so was kinda (unpleasantly) surprised by the price 😓 - think at the most previously it was abt $10, and im guessing the extra cost may be bc of the side salad but imo $5 is kinda pricey and not v worth for the side salad given the portion size & nature of it! the salad had a nice dressing which had sesame seeds inside that i liked bc i felt it went w the salad, but portion size can be bigger at the v least and the dressing (as is the case w most side salads) was just drizzled over it and not stirred in well :p the teriyaki sauce has an interesting taste and it's sweet like teriyaki sauce but just a headsup i dont rlly feel it tastes like what teriyaki sauce normally does; also, wld hv appreciated to hv sauce on both slices of bread bc only had it on the bottom slice. taste of the patty was fine and so was portion of the mushrooms but patty kinda fell apart easily. on the whole, slightly disappointed w cedele bc i'd been q impressed and happy w their plant-based sandwiches i tried at the start of this year!

I really like that Cedele is not trying to make burgers with fake meat. This is another great patty with a nice taste and texture. The mushrooms add perfect flavours and the bread is delicious!
