Tempe burger

This place is an amazing setting in the rice field with beautiful open views. They have sauna nights and other events and it's definitely a hidden gem and a must visit! Their signature dish, this "burger" was really different than expected. First off the gluten free bread option was like little buckwheat pancakes or mini crepes. Nothing wrong with that, they were tasty just not very burger like! Continuing with the trend, there was no actual patty or burger inside! Just a few small strips of tempeh. It did however have fat slices of mango and tomato inside and ample lettuce. I loved the mango inside, the smile on the bun is really cute , and the sweet potato fries alongside were good; so was the little side salad. I really enjoyed this dish but it wasn't a #burger and could have used more #tempeh for sure! This was kind of a theme here as everyone at our table ordered something that didn't quite fit the description on the menu 🤣

This is their signature dish, and I liked that they used pita bread instead of a bun, but the tempe was pretty disappointing and it didn't quite meet my expectations.
